PEACHES

We put this little tree in a little over two years ago. The first summer it tried to fruit, despite being not-long planted. The second summer it had a better go, but birds and ants ruined everything that didn't drop early - the birds were not stopped by mesh all round and over it.

This year, with goop on the trunk to stop the ants, and extra-careful mesh, staked in and weighted with stones, we have peaches!!! Not quite ready yet, but PEACHES!!
