First sprinkle of snow

A noisy windy night with hailstones hitting the windows and we woke to a  thin layer of snow. Throughout the day more showers followed but it did nt come to anything. Other places have been battered by Storm Conor.
It was also sad to wake to the news that George Michael had died. I'm sure I have a Wham album somewhere, so many songs from my teenage years. Both lads from Bushey and they went to the same school as Mike.
Ashlene and Richard were back for Boxing Day dinner of cold meats, bubble and squeak and pickles. Very nice and great to have another dinner 'under our belts' without a powercut. Eating out tomorrow ;)
Another day watching animation films including 'Planes' and 'How to train your Dragon 2' . Hopefully get a walk in tomorrow !
