Rogue one

We went to see Rogue One, a spin off from the Star Wars films this morning. Really good , plenty of action and some great characters and I felt that the CGI was nt over done this time .So it felt even more emotional to find out that Carrie Fisher had passed away this morning.
Also sad to hear that Liz Smith died on Christmas Eve, we used to watch her in children's dramas including 'Pirates' and 'The Queens Nose' but she's probably best known for playing Nana in The Royle Family.

After the film we met up with Ashlene, her parents and brother and went for a tasty meal at the Snowgoose in Inverness. We did have to wait over an hour for our food but it was worth it and we had a good catch up.
Puddings were amazing, we chose a taster plate to share and expected just a tiny piece from each pud but you can see from the extra they were huge, glad there were three of us sharing :)
Oh and the Pine marten had a daytime visit and was feeling thirsty.
