We have been trying to train Jasper to be comfortable with his own company and have been trying various dog training devices.

Fellow blipper lynnw - who is the oracle when it comes to dog training - has lent us some training aids to try. The theory is that Jasper should be amused for hours trying to get the kibbles out of the bottle by pulling on the rope.

Unfortunately after an intensive training session whereby Robt and I both demonstrated what he needed to do, I realised that Jasper simply does not have a brain cell to call his own.

After trying to roll it like a ball, he then decided that surely if he barked constantly at the bottle it would admit defeat, flip open its end and surrender the kibbles.

It's either back to the drawing board or more human to dog demonstrations of how to pull a rope with your mouth!!
