Heartbeat Country

A rare Friday off for RobT and I so we took advantage of having a steam railway on our doorstep and took Jasper to Goathland.

Goathland is a village in the North Yorkshire Moors famous for being Aidensfield in the long running TV programme Heartbeat and also for its station being Hogwarts station in Harry Potter.

Despite filming of Heartbeat having stopped many years ago it still attracts lots of visitors and the locals still keep the theme going.

Here is Scripp's garage and funeral parlour which is just across the road from the Aidensfield Arms!
