Boxing Day Stroll

It was such a beautiful morning we went out for a walk with the boys by the sea. There were so many people out and about, obviously walking off their Christmas dinners!

We walked to Rottingdean on the undercliff walk and then came back over the top of the cliffs. We passed the Lido so went to have a look at the work to the pool which is coming along well, the children's pool is done now too.

We were out for nearly two hours and were so glad that we'd made the decision to drive home last night, it would have been awful having to sit in the car for hours today.

At 4pm we went to Alison and Tony's new house for drinks with Chrissy, Stephen and their son Matt. Alison's daughter was there too with her baby, Charles, so it was nice to see them as I haven't seen Charles since he was born in February. Alison and Tony only moved in on 22nd December, and have worked really hard to get everything ready for Christmas, there wasn't a packing box in sight and it looked like they've been there much longer.

We had a great night and didn't get home until after 10pm. Then we FaceTimed Rose and Randy in Chicago and chatted until nearly midnight, so I'm a bit late posting this blip!
