You Light Up My Life.....

So Tuesday Bank Holiday, because Christmas was Sunday.  Vair Vair confusing.  

I rose fairly early this morning and set about practising my new complicated knitting. I thought four needles was difficult but five is near impossible....   But I do want to make a "lily the pink"  like Kath did!

Tooli had work this morning (thank heavens she had yesterday off to recover) ... and although she was due to start at three, they called her in early. 

Himself and me?  We toddled into the town for a rowse around and some fresh air... 

Himself paused beside a lamp-post; we had just been contemplating the new lights on all of the lamp-posts in town  and whether "leaving them up because they were lovely", really mean, it will cost more to take them down. 

he stood for a minute and grinned, and I said "what you looking at?"  And he pointed at this...
