The Hunt

A nice walk up to Galleywood Common to see the hunt take off. First they gather, then the dogs arrive, then they take off in all their regailier.
It was very different this year. Not as good for sure. Not as many riders or dogs. Plus they left early and the dogs didn't go with them. They were herded back into the back of the van and just left in there. It was awful seeing all their little faces looking out the back.
I enjoyed being up the local pub where they all gather as so many people come to watch and it's nice to catch up with friends and neighbours. That's the last one though as they are going to be taking off from Matching Green next year. I'll not be going. Its too far and part of the pleasure us the walk up with the dogs.
Had a fun evening. Lots of friends around for fun and games. The best game was Speak Out. Hilarious. A great finish to a great Christmas.
