Beautiful But Cold

After scraping the ice off the car this morning i drove down to Southend. It was a gorgeous morning for a stroll along the beach....but I didn't do that...I went for a swim with two other nutters.
Coldest dip this year. None of us in wetsuits....just our costumes, one hat and goggles. If we can get in now and swim, then come the channel swim we should find the cold won't affec us...well that's our theory anyway.
Once out and dry and a pot of tea downed Phil and I took off on our bikes. We had a lovely 30k bike ride around the country lanes. I really enjoyed it.
Home just as lunch was being put on the table. Great timing.
Then a completely lazy afternoon eating far too many chocolates that I've so kindly be given but could really have done without.
That's it line under the unhealthy eating...tomorrow the new eating plan starts. I hope it works...it needs to ;)
