Give me a word

Dear Diary,

This is the time each year that I ponder...what word will I choose for the coming year?  It has become a year end ritual for me.  It will become my mantra in the months ahead and something I think about a lot.  We quoted Gandhi during our Christmas blessing on Sunday and it is also Gandhi that is at the core of this yearly ritual for me:

“Your beliefs become your thoughts,

Your thoughts become your words,

Your words become your actions,

Your actions become your habits,

Your habits become your values,

Your values become your destiny.”
