Fifty Shades of Grey

Grey Sky.......Again....and Again....and ...ugggghhhh

The novel 'Fifty Shades of Grey' by E.L. James is rather dominating the news today in the North of England. It must be what is termed a 'Low News Day'. Women's groups are getting angry somewhere near Darlington and are going to have a ritual burning of donated copies of the book. Oh Dear - where is all this going to end? This type of thing was only seen in the Middle East denouncing Western hegemony and our latest Imperialist adventures - or the odd book that misquoted the Qur'an. Now - ordinary women in England are exhibiting the same behaviours - bizarre !!

This picture is rather boring - but perhaps meant to be. It is grey. The sky is grey - it is always grey these days due to a global climate shift whereby the Jet Stream has decided to move to the North East of England - and more to the point directly over our house. Therefore it rains a lot and we have a lot of grey clouds. There may be more than 50 shades of grey perhaps - who is counting?

Hopefully the sun will shine tomorrow, we will have blue skies and everyone will come to their senses.

It is only a book. Focus against the neo-conservative hegemonic political agenda instead as this will have more of an impact on our lives.
