When the hurly-burly's done.....

(the reference, of course, is to an early scene in the Scottish Play!)

I was walking on Peebles High Street.   Along came Brian, an erstwhile neighbouring minister in Edinburgh.    We were chatting when who should turn up but Calum - minister of the Old Parish Church of Peebles.   (Luckily with Mrs Calum who could take a picture).     It also so happened that we were standing in front of the Peebles branch of William Purves - the undertakers with which we all did a lot of business in past days in Edinburgh.

So three ministers - two retired and one active.   The two retraités enjoyed hearing how very busy Calum had been over Christmas!!!!
