A Quiet Day .... Not

First of a huge thank you for all your comments, stars and hearts for my '1095' blip yesterday. You are all such lovely folk. Not had a chance to thank each of you individually, but I really do appreciate them.

After our Christmas celebration at our daughter’s yesterday, I was hoping for a return to normality today - walking the dog, taking a photo, putting it up on blip etc. etc.

But no - we managed to ‘acquire’ our granddaughter for the day as our daughter and her husband headed off out to the cinema to see the new Star Wars film.

So I took our son and his dog home (he works from home and needed to be back by 10 a.m.). Mrs madwill brought the baby home with her and we were entertaining her (the child) most of the day.

Daughter and son-in-law arrived here mid afternoon - and stayed for tea…

I did manage a couple of shots of Jessica as she sat at her little table with her colouring book - a short respite from the whizzing around she normally does. Thought she looked quite peaceful, if a little dishevelled! I did like the backlighting on her hair.

So this was supposed to be a ‘quiet’ day… more visitors tomorrow....
