The son in law and dog drove back to Christchurch today.  The son and daughter in law flew back to Wellington.  A quick straightening up of the house ready for the next visitors tomorrow.  
This afternoon I was surprised to find three little purple flowers hanging over the lawn edge.  They must be the remnants of a perennial flower boarder.  I have a list of plants I want to grow here and where they will be placed.  Now starts the big job of  removing the plants I don't want and getting the soil in order.  I'll just tackle a small section at a time.
The fish was delicious last night and tonight and wait . . . we can have the last of it tomorrow night.
