Mizen Peninsula

After a hearty breakfast and an hour less in bed, we took to the coastal road from Kinsale to Mizen Peninsula.

We made slow progress as we kept stopping to take pictures,.

The first was at a lovely beach. There was just us and another couple there. I just wanted to go charging off down the beach it was such a fantastic wide open space.

We stopped several times for coffee, more beer and to visit Drombeg Stone circle before ending up on the Mizen peninsula where we watched the waves crashing on the rocks, looked around a strange museum before scoffing scones jam and cream.

We debated over heading back to Cork that night but made a good decision and decided to stop in Baltimore, where we found fab hotel and got a family sized room half price with sea views! We wandered down into the village and found a nice pub for some more murphys and to watch the sun going down before another hearty fish supper. Yum Yum.
