Meet Kip
Kip is a cockapoo from Macclesfield who is visiting Margret (next door) with his owners (her son and daughter in law). He is one and a bit, so just at that stage of being fully grown but still behaving like a puppy! Very boisterous and cute but exhausting.
Mum and I spend most of our day at the Elderly Ambulatory Care Unit at Hexham General. As hospital visits go, it was good. We were very well looked after from the moment we arrived. Various tests were done and we now know that she does not have a deep vein thrombosis, or a torn Achilles tendon or a fracture. What is causing the swelling is not clear, but at least we now know that serious diagnoses have been ruled out. (That includes gout, in case anyone was wondering!)
She can start to mobilise it a bit more and then we will see how she goes.
I've promised to (try to) take photos of Kip tomorrow for his adoring slaves proud owners so I thought I'd try in low light indoors to see how that worked. Let's hope its fine tomorrow.
