Grey days cast no shadow
OK
day
late to wake
postponed the run
mellow morning, worked from home
listening to tunes
my mum came by
pottered around for company
I forgot to eat enough
and without fresh air or sunshine
distracted by critical appraisal of reports
I fell into a grey day
a flat-liner no-brainer.
The morning's mellow blips were far gone.
foggy bound evening, went out for that run
Pain knee made had to stop.
Too flat to care.
Then it popped into my head: at least grey days cast no shadow.
No bright, but no dark despondency either.
And I forgot to switch off the flash, scared an old lady who thought I was taking pictures through her window.
Oops. Sorry.
