The Colonel, Low Port - after the duck count at Linlithgow Loch, which were monthly over the Winter, and when living over in this area I used to cycle over to, or scrounge a lift on dire weather days. Used the Colonel's flashgun for the above. The old one Pete K. gave me recently, is a bit erratic about when it wants to work! It'll do until I can afford something else. A more telephoto lens is first saving priority... 50mm wouldn't capture that Smew duck very clearly!

Extras:
- After the count, back out looking for a female Smew that one later group had spotted. It had a chocolate brown coloured head, white cheeks, grey back, and white underside. It kept diving and moving all over the place. First one I've seen.
