New Year’s Day saw us at Nelson airport saying farewell to our daughter and grandchildren who were returning to their home in Wellington, NZ.

Our weather today was hot and sunny, humid too, but it was a different story across the strait in Wellington and the flight was delayed several times. Finally, they departed and arrived at Wellington airport and as my daughter said “with the bumpiest landing ever” - the children seemed to enjoy it!

As you might have guessed, this is my daughter and her children, Marcus and Sophia, through security and making their way to the boarding gate. 

A big thank you to those of you who took the time to check out both blips I uploaded at the same time yesterday. I really appreciate the comments, stars and hearts - thank you.  
Saturday’s photo, taken on the beach at Rabbit Island looks toward Nelson while Motueka Beach is very close to our home.
