Glow

My sister, brother-in-law, niece and newphew arrived for the New Year today.  After soup and rolls for lunch we ventured out for a walk down the 'swamp-bog footpath' and over to my allotment.  I recieved some suggestions for my 2017 plantings - Emily wants me to grow purple carrots and Oliver would like me to grow bananas!  As we returned along the old railway line the sun was going down over the horizon and the mist was starting to form.  We ate beef stew and apple and raspberry crumble for dinner, which were followed by sparklers and toasted marshmallows in the garden.  A dose of Harry Potter then got us through to the New Year.  I wish you all well and hope you had a good day.
