Orange Moon

The view across the heath in the bright morning sunshine.  You can see there are plenty of Scot's pine trees regenerating amidst the much older ones.  Its been a day of being at home and enjoying the final day of the holiday.  I have been cooking - casserole and soup using the remains of the vegetables and meat from Christmas.  An icy walk in the dark this evening with the waning moon glowing orange and forming a sharply defined crescent in the sky.
