Goodbye 2016

All years eventually come to an end, even horrible ones like 2016, and there is hope for better times. This find in the garden seemed appropriate today - the skeletonised leaves of an everlasting pea, demonstrating the mortality of even something called 'everlasting'! The shape suggested an angel...or possibly insect wings...flying off with the degraded end of 2016 and allowing 2017 to start. Happy and hopeful New Year to you all!
