Looking back at 2016

This is an image from my review of 2016 at Dancersend Nature Reserve, produced for the amazing volunteer team that help me there. It shows the high point of my year recording the wildlife of the reserve - nine different species of longhorn beetles, one of which was completely new for the reserve list. I've already drafted a New Year resolution to put more effort into recording beetles in 2017, so this is a good image to end 2016 on.
