Happy New Year.

Mr W and I saw the New Year in in our favourite place! Bed! 

We then met my Bestie and her husband Steve at the Black Rabbit in Arundel. Its a yearly tradition of ours! But this year we had an added guest by way of Steves son William who he has not seen since he was very young as Williams mother stopped him from seeing his father. Hes now a grown man and capable of making up his own mind. He has joined the army so Mr W, a retired Royal Marine and Steve, a retired Naval Officer had a great time telling William all about their antics in the Military and boy can they talk!!! 

Mean while Shirley and I put the world to rights and compared our Christmases. She had a little tear when chatting about her dad (my ex father in law) who recently died but we all had a great afternoon together.

Mr W and I are now home (and full!) and awaiting my friend Lena who also lost her partner last year. Mr W just called his late Best Friends wife who also had a little tear and it all makes you realise just how lucky we are to have someone close and Linda reminded Mr W of that when he moaned about my snoring last night!!!! I blame and Baileys!

But Happy New Year to you all. I hope its a better one than last year.

My Blip is my Christmas present from Shirley and Steve. I love it!!!
