Beautiful Blue

A large typhoon passed through the region a couple of weeks before we went there, so most of the water in the area was grey and very gritty. However, for mysterious reasons, the water along the Shakadang Trail never gets dirty; it always remains a beautiful blue. The water levels are much lower than they were a couple of decades ago, which is regrettable. This must be a common phenomenon across the world. But it was wonderful to have seen the colour of the water with my own eyes.
