Silver lining

The first day of 2017 is sunny and beautiful. I feel hopeful and committed. 

The blue sky is full of white clouds, gathering and dissipating as they travel. The sun strikes their tops and paints their edges with silver. I take photos one after another, squinting and chimping. I want so much to capture that silver lining.

This is as close as I got.
