Black Beech
Endemic to NZ the black beech is often found in lowland and montane forest but I'm fortunate to have one in my garden. It's lovely to be able to watch the light flicker amongst the tiny leaves especially during sunrise/sunset or late afternoon. It's a tree the birds enjoy flitting from branch to branch or swaying in the breeze right at the top, the view must be amazing!
Wonderful to have my brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew with us, some exciting days are in store.
Good times during summertime :)
