Tiny......

.....droplets......gifts from last night's rain reflecting colours from the petals of a rather special lily.

This is the third year it's been in my garden, it keeps me wondering when it will flower as each year it flowers later into summer and seems to be growing enormously tall, even taller than I this year but that wouldn't be hard to bet. The buds try to trick me into thinking it's going to be white until just before opening they tinge slightly pink, never really revealing the shade until fully open.

One of those special ones which keeps in you suspense.....

Wednesday......wet with heavy showers rolling through and just 19C, not really summer temps. This afternoon sun shone but the wind kept things chilly, there's snow on the alps, twas unseasonably cold.
