Brief sunshine

After several days of misty, wet weather, we woke to sunshine this morning.  I went for a wander down the garden with the camera to check that the pond was still there - not only still there, but some nice reflections in it.

I thought this would not be usable, that the shadow would be TOO shaded.  But in fact, it has worked quite well.

Shortly after returning inside, it rained, again.  By the time we were taking dad home this evening, there was a gentle, but clear, and rather nicely coloured, sunset.  I think there will be a frost tonight, but hopefully the weather will be good tomorrow.
