Hummingbird Before the Storm

I've never seen a hummingbird at the ocean before. We are up on the path, looking down on this scraggly tree. It's right across the street from where the osprey hangs out. I like the contrast between the sharp patient raptor, high on his perch, and this little breath of a bird who had completely disappeared by the time I looked up from my camera.
