2017 Sunday -- Happy New Year

our friends Marilyn & Jim leaving our Central Coast home to begin their 2-day journey home to Seattle.

the breakfast I enjoyed at the "Sea Shanty" restaurant here in Cayucos. I was definitely cheating on our vegan diet by eating eggs and cheese.

When January 1st is a Sunday, the Pasadena Rose Parade and the Rose Bowl football game are postponed until Monday.

This had been a lovely quiet relaxed day. We enjoyed it thoroughly.
