003 — Colour

Todays assignment from the book "Vision 365: Mastering the Everyday Practice of Seeing": photograph colour.



With the first day back at work done I had a few ideas on subjects but as I turned the nurses Hue light on and looked at the butterfly lampshade I'm very fond of I mentally filed the other subject ideas for later. The 365 project revisits the theme of colour a few times.


I tried a few different colours but already had the purple in mind as I have a preset of a similar shade of purple stored as one of our favourite hue's.


A handful of shots, processed in Lightroom just to add a touch of quality and here it is.
