Day off!!

I had a day off work today. The plan was a trip to the zoo....but as the weather reports were showing the rain coming in earlier I went for the cheaper option of watching the birds in the garden and trying out my macro lens on flowers in the house........once I'd managed to untrap my hand from my tripod that folded shut on the skin between thumb and forefinger.... ;o)

They might be Tesco Finest tomatoes but they needed a bit of a boost courtesy of picasa to make them look this colour but with such a dull day I picked this one for being nice and cheery.
