Someone's out a bit late....

My excitement in seeing a hedgehog was overshadowed by the fact he was out in daylight....never a good sign. Added to the fact a magpie was paying him a lot of attention.....maybe he was looking at potential dinner....but let's not dwell on that - he looked quite spritely. If I hadn't have been on my way out I would have scooped him up and put him in our back garden with some food and water - but I had a date with Colin Farrell.

I have to say there were only 3 good points about seeing Total Recall......the person I went with, the excuse for a bucket of icecream - and the end of the film......as in thank god. Not even Colin could rescue the film - and frankly should be ashamed of himself for being in it. Should have stayed home and watched 'The Slipper & the Rose'. Maybe next weekend!! ;O)

Weekend didn't really go as planned all round. My friend and I had arranged a shopping trip to Brighton on Saturday. As she was on her way to the station her husband said 'you do realise it's gay pride this weekend don't you....' errr clearly not. One hour train journey standing all the way - apparently chivalry was officially dead on the 10.11am to Brighton. All the under 20's had a seat and gave no thought to offering them up to the people who could have been their grandparents age. Sadly the annoying git on the way home on the train didn't choke on his 'gay pride' whistle but at least we had a seat - and I bought a new dress and no tears were shed! Success!!!!
