Detail from a preliminary drawing in pencil and graphite for a new linoprint - St Michael and the dragon (Revelations 12:7) The battle between good and evil was most famously depicted with a seven headed dragon in a woodcut by Albrecht Durer.  My version is based on a work by the great Victorian stained glass window designer Charles Kempe.
