Essential irrigation.

Not far from the centre of our village, you can see these concrete channels spreading out, forming a network, around the orange groves.... they are known locally as "acequias".....
They are the communally owned irrigation channels........ not pretty, but essential!
Today's Blip is of a typical southern Spanish scene........the whole area used to be dependent on agriculture and fishing .....before tourism became the main industry!
