Another day, another corpse on Baleshare beach. This time a rather large - and very dead - one in the shape of forty feet of Humpback Whale. Combine this with the Minke Whale and Dolphin still there along with numerous Seals and there is a graveyard feel to the tideline, possibly a reflection on the recent rough weather.
There were a pair seen off Lewis for a while in Autumn - more spectacular by a mile than this sad shoreline casualty.
