Pink hyacinth of hope

Oh dear, back to work...

I worked at home, mainly burrowing through my email. As an antidote, this evening Mr hazelh and I planned a few holidays to take me through to the end of the academic year.

The big excitement of the day was a complete power outage mid-morning for about half an hour. Fortunately I had a fully charged lap-top so this didn't really affect me other than I was forced to move from the dark kitchen into the sitting room to see my keyboard to clear my email.

This blip is my first hyacinth in bloom. This gives us hope that spring will come - eventually.

Exercise today: sit-ups, weights and stretches.
