it was really really freezing and I'm glad I took two jackets for me and pegs as well as waterproof trousers for going up dunnydeer at insch. the reid's joined us at the last minute and it snowed on and off at the top. the kids were like wee whirlwinds with loads of energy and no cobwebs to blow away - it's the last day of their holidays. I'm not ready for them to go back to school.

we went to morgan mcveigh's to thaw and have some soup. then home to lounge around in the couch before we think about school clothes and nonsense like that.
