Monterey Bay and a bird thingie

There was a weather event predicted for today so in good Kiwi fashion we went out walking towards the Point Pinos lighthouse this afternoon but got so distracted by photography that we didn’t make it before it was getting dark so we returned and had fab fish and chips in a pub. American pubs are always good for a great simple meal and this one was no exception. The lighting was simply amazing as the clouds sat there and sorta glowed. By the time we got back to our hotel it was thinking about raining so in good Kiwi fashion…Errr hasn’t that cropped up before….Well anyway we walked about 30 minutes into town and saw “Lion” which was a classy Ausi movie indeed. Then we left and as predicted, at last it was raining but not the weather event that everyone was talking about and it was 19 degrees with no wind so just bits of us got wet. I didn’t get wet at all as The Boss decided it would be better to leave me at home guarding the place.
The Extra tonight is a bird. It was just wandering about the rocks saying "Photograph me" so  he did.  As you will all kno The Boss is a complete expert on birds and The Bossess who actually is a “Bird” so to mini bark didn’t have a clue either but I Tiny think it’s an Egret..I hope I don’t live to egret that guess….
