Misty, dull morning in Mote Park
I didn't think there would be a decent shot outide today until I was waiting for Susan to visit the conveniences and spotted these people walking up the bank from the lake in front of the white barked thicket.
Today's change to our usual Saturday routine of walking into town for coffee and shopping was down to me. I was refereeing this afternoon and at this time of the year it means an early kick-off and and an early departure for the ground leaving no time for the preambulation into town. We did have time for 4 miles around the part consoling ourselves the we could walk into town on Monday when most people would be at work.
For the fourth time in eight games I was being observed. Must either be doing something really bad or really good. I thouroughly enjoyed the game, hard fought and closer than the 28-3 scoreline might suggest. Had a good report to boot. Perhaps I'll not be seen again for a while now.
Had a very pleasant evening, a slow cooker beef and mushroom stew followed by an evening watching Runrig's 2007 DVD "The Flood".
