Border stripes

I've been working on a Game of Thrones knitted blanket for son number one since September. It is now almost finished and is rather large. This is one of the corners of the crocheted border. It is done in linen stitch and you turn the blanket after each row so that the border does not curl. 

Hoping to have this finished very soon.
