Multi-coloured eggs

These were on display (on the egg stall, naturally) at the Farmers Market this morning. The nice lady from Brewsters (Newburgh, Fife) explained exactly which cross-bred chicken lays the khaki-coloured eggs, but I should have written it down - one of them was a Blue....something. Oh dear. But I'm sure an anth or Eco Dad could help if you're interested.

Strange to say, I didn't have any seredipitious blip-meets at all today. For some unknown reason I spent the afternoon delving into the Meles family history on the interweb. Oh, that was it, there was a limited time offer to look at immigration records....found uncle Edwin who went to Canada, but couldn't find any trace of aunt Bertha who went to New Zealand, dammit.
