Tulips is as exciting as it gets...

Today was not a good day - I do not want to be boring and complain about how awful I felt all day, but all I did today was lie on the small sofa in the conservatory all day, feeling too grim to do anything else. Even taking photos of these tulips was an effort.

We recently bought some new bird feeders to attract more birds to our garden, so as I lay on the sofa watching the birds through the conservatory windows I came to the conclusion that we have the most boring birds in Britain in our garden. All I saw today was
- one very fat pigeon who just hoovered up all the seeds that I had scattered on the lawn
- another very fat pigeon who could have fed a family of five for roast dinner quite comfortably
- a very shy and nervous robin who did not eat anything
- two magpies who kept bullying all the other birds
Not exactly an exciting record for the RSBP Big Garden Birdwatch!

I did not manage to go out for walk today, I felt too awful and poor Gavin who has not fully recovered himself is doing all the shopping and preparing of meals for me. Not that I feel like eating, I could not even face my usual morning cappuccino today so I must be ill!
