marmalade cake mix

Another early start as had to get both girls to their exams, back to collect Heidi at 11 who had found hers tough, as expected and was bouncing off the wall.   We went to the trampoline place and jumped for an hour and played dodge ball, i nearly had a cardiac arrest and Heidi had not even used up 1% of her energy.  Back to collect a very tired fed up India and off to my parents where i abandoned my kids and went off to walk the dogs. Still preferring to bake than sleep I've made 2 of Nigel Slaters marmalade cakes, one to cheer up India and one for work.  Double leftover cake mix was a great reward!
