Panettone

In my top 5 favourite foods! Tomorrow I have to get weighed and then be more responsible with my eating so consequently i've overindulged this week ending with a Panettone festival tonight. And it was gorgeous.  The beauty of Panettone is that unlike most breads it is not just a vehicle for butter but if you put butter on it raises up to heavenly levels of delectability. Thank goodness we only get it at Christmas (the best one was absolutely the Aldi one, knocked the socks off this Waitrose one) as i have a pathetic willpower!
