What a star!

Clematis cirrhosa is the star in my garden at the moment. Dull or sunny, raining or frosty, great clouds of these greeny white flowers are draped over a tall willow tree. Recent foggy days seem to suit it so well as the background becomes almost monochrome. If you haven't got one of these amazing winter-flowering climbers, you must find a spot for one in your garden.
