Prudential

A new Superlative Walk today, around Huddersfield, with Andy, Bruce, Bonnie, Chris and Martin. It will take me some time to process all the photographs for the website. This building was built in 1898for the Prudential Assurance Company, designed by Alfred Waterhouse in their required red terracotta.

Huddersfield Town Centre has hundreds of fine buildings - well-preserved apart from their ground floor levels which have awful modern shop fronts.  This is certainly no exception to that.
