'The Backs'

You can stroll along the 'Backs' and see five of the Cambridge colleges. This is the back of Trinity and there are five footbridges that are used to cross the river Cam and see these majestic buildings from a different viewpoint. Quite cold with an odd burst of sun here and there around mid-day. As snow is forecast I went into town to stock up on a few groceries although I do have a convenience store nearby for emergencies. As a friend recently slipped on the frosty pavement and broke her hip and wrist, I don't want to take any chances with my new hip.
