Chill

Today's blip shows one if the few nice bursts of sunshine on what was actually a surprisingly cold and squally day. I drove pooch up to Sunbiggin tarn for a wander on the moors, she's been a bit off the last few days so I thought it would cheer her up. We didn't linger long though, enthusiasm low for us both.
Feomcthe van with a coffee I watched this Swan and it's partner for a while, it seemed to have a plan to keep itself tucked up out of the wind, nature can be very wise.
Later I popped to Kirkby Lindale to visit an ill pal, the sky was dark to the west - a sign of the storm they say is coming.
